6 steps from booking to departure
- Choose your destination and departure port · Consider your final destination in China.

- Choose a cabin and fare · Compare shared cabins, two-person cabins, VIP cabins and other classes.
- Book with your passport details · Make sure your English name exactly matches your passport.
- Arrive at the terminal and collect your ticket · Bring your passport and booking confirmation.
- Clear customs and immigration, then board · Follow terminal instructions through the international departure area.
08 · PREPARING TO ENTER CHINA
Booked the ferry? Check entry requirements too
A ferry booking and permission to enter China are separate matters. Before departure, check your passport validity and the visa or visa-free rules, permitted stay and entry documents that apply on your travel date using official guidance from Chinese government authorities or the Chinese Embassy in Korea.
Make sure the English name on your booking matches your passport exactly.
Check the visa or visa-free rules that apply on your travel date with an official authority.
Check each operator’s free baggage allowance and excess baggage charges.
Many routes take 12–24 hours or longer, so keep toiletries, chargers and essential personal items handy.
